#9 Climb Mount Everest

I am a person who loves to ski. I usually go skiing every year. There is no better feeling than ski in powder snow, right? To get to the top you must take the ski lift, and the mountains are quite high, it can of course take some time.

How would it be if there were no ski lifts? Imagine if you would have to climb up all by yourself? What if the mountain was much higher? What if the mountain was Mount Everest?

Climb Mount Everest, and yes: To the very top of it. Dangerous but a great adventure.

"dangerous but a great adventure"

"Mount Everest is the world's highest mountain above the mean sea level at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft). It is located in the Himalayas on the Nepal (Sagarmatha Zone)-China (Tibet) border.

By the end of the 2008 climbing season, there had been 4,102 ascents to the summit by about 2,700 individuals. Climbers are a significant source of tourist revenue for Nepal, whose government also requires all prospective climbers to obtain an expensive permit, costing up to US $ 25,000 per person. By the end of 2009 Everest had claimed 216 lives".

What I would be worried about is at the top the air is too thin to breath.

What can i say, i will put McKenna quote: "A hallucination is a species of reality, as capable of teaching you as a videotape about Kilimanjaro or anything else that falls through your life."

Climbing Mt. Everest is probably an aspiration for many people. However, it's a pretty ridiculous one. A climb of that magnitude required years if not a lifetime of training. It would be fucking awesome though.

I've read that there are about 120 human skeletons there (not on the top of the mountain of course)

I don't think I have the balls to climb it.

I used to love to ski, until an accident when I was about 10. Not many people realize how dangerous of a sport it is. Climbing Mt. Everest? Now thats something that definitely takes much courage and motivation.

this is probably one of the toughest things you've listed so far. You have to know a lot of stuff to be able to scale a mountain that big.

What about getting into a streetfight with a midget? Surely that could suffice rather than climbing Everest. Both are exhilarating, and death-defying.

Whoa, that is indeed a must-have adventure! Even though it's pretty dangerous, the experience will surely be memorable. What do you think?
